There are 2 basic standards that define the system of English language teaching:
- British – being in the purview of the British Council that is in its turn a part of the British Foreign Office.
- Ukrainian – provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
ETC “Lardan” are at present the partner of the British Council and the Centre of preparing to certified Cambridge ESOL exams, and also possess the License of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (АА №329651) which gives us an official permit to provide English language teaching services and confirms our conformity to both British and home standards.

Having accomplished the full teaching course, our students pass an exam.

After the exam Lardan’s graduates receive:
- a State Certificate of non-formal education for graduates who have not yet come of age.
- ETC Lardan’s Certificate for graduates who have come of age (18+).

After passing an exam in the British Council students receive:
- a Cambridge ESOL Certificate – an internationally recognized certificate.

The stated documents confirm the level of knowledge of English. Cambridge ESOL Certificates are necessary for opening a students or working visa in the British Embassy and are recognized in all countries of the British Commonwealth (with the total population of 1.8 billion people).
