Stress is a nervous tension of a person. It can be safe for our health and it can also be dangerous for our health. So we should distinguish them. But stress can also contribute to illnesses, some of them are serious. When we feel stress our body produces more of hormones adrenaline and cortisol. And as a result we need more oxygen and our heart rate and blood pressure go up. And when stress is regular in our life it can contribute to heart problems, problems with weight, coughs and cold.
There are a lot of professions in the world. Some of them are very stressful, and some of them are calm. I asked 10 people, what one they consider the most stressful. 2 of them think that the most stressful profession is police officer. The second place took doctor, 3 people voted for him. And the first place took teacher, he had 5 votes.

So teacher is the most stressful profession, especially class teacher. He has to love children, be calm, responsible and punctual, help another people. But nowadays children don’t understand that to be calm with them is something unreal, because all pupils are different and teacher should fine approach to each pupil.
And every day, in teacher’s life, there are many stressful situations. Sometimes pupils don’t do homework, and it makes teacher angry. Girls and boys can also fight, and class teacher should solve who is right and who is wrong. Some pupils always speak on the lessons, and it also makes teacher angry. Sometimes children don’t understand new material, and teacher explains it again and again. Many pupils are always late for the lessons, and it makes teacher nervous. As I know, many teachers don’t have big salary for their difficult work and it can also contribute stress and even depression. In my opinion over-work in teachers’ life can also be stressful situation. There is also a new rule in Ukrainian schools. Children can’t use mobile phones on the lessons, but a lot of pupils neglect this rule and they use their mobiles always and everywhere. Bad relations with colleagues are also the reason of stress.

In my opinion teacher is really the most stressful profession, but if teacher is good and he can find common language with pupils, his job is very positive. Children will understand and help him in difficult moments. So, all depends on teacher.
