Company’s History

The English Teaching Centre (ETC) “Lardan” was founded in 2001. During its existence, our company has developed and implemented in practice its own individual approach to the language learning based on top-ranked international methods.

ETC “Lardan” is:

- A training centre in certified Cambridge ESOL exams in Ukraine

- A member of International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL)

- A distributor of the worldwide known British publishing houses Macmillan Publishers Ltd and Oxford University Press (OUP)in Ukraine

- A partner of British (NCC education) and German (IBR) business schools

Our work is confirmed by the License of the Department of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine АА №329574. Programmes developed by our centre have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The specialists of ETC “Lardan” are certified by the University of Cambridge (Cambridge ESOL exams) whose certificates acknowledge the high level of language fluency (CPE, CAE, CELTA).

More than 800 students are currently studying English, German and French languages in Lardan’s subsidiaries in Nikolaev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Simferopol, Kherson and Zholtye Vody.

Our clients are Pepsico (Sandora), Russian aluminum – Rusal (Nikolaev Aluminum plant), Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Aker Design, UkrSybBank, the Maritime Register of Ukraine, Unix South, Global Logic Ukraine, the International Financial Corporation, Danone, Lactalis etc.

Out centre is the founder and a member of multiple nationwide Ukrainian organizations like the Association of Volunteers’ Recruiting and Training (www.volontery.org), Ukrainian nationwide Youth Hostel Association etc.
