English Discussion Club

You still think there is only one way of learning English? Grammar, lexis, grammar and more lexis? No, there is NOT!!! You can not only master language systems (lexis, grammar, phonology, functions) but also develop what you need – KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS how to use them.

If you feel tired of traditional studies or just want to pay more attention to boosting your language skills at this stage, ETC Lardan suggests that you try our new programmes ‘Discussion club’ and ‘Debates’ where every lesson contains a discussion  on one of the following topics:

-politics;

-culture;

-grneral background

Benefits of the programme:

-role-play activities;

-careless and rapid speech of interlocutors;

-acquisition of new communicative strategies;

-a live dialogue in class;

-students learn to express their viewpoint and understand their interlocutors;

-grammar gaps are getting polished in the process of conversation;

-involuntary acquisition of spoken cliches and language constructions

Terms of the programme:

-the classes are taught by a native speaker;

- the classes are held once a week

- each class lasts for 2 hours (8 hours a month)
